40th Annual Montecito Beautification Day

There’s something quietly special about living in Montecito — the morning light through the oaks, the familiar faces at the Country Mart, the way a walk through the Upper Village can turn into a quick chat about the weather or last night’s sunset. It’s easy to forget that this kind of beauty doesn’t just happen—it’s cared for, tended to, and preserved by people who show up.

The 40th Annual Montecito Beautification Day is coming up, and it’s one of those simple opportunities to give back to the place that gives us so much. Whether you’re sweeping a sidewalk, planting along a trail, or helping tidy a corner that’s been overlooked, it all matters. Community isn’t built through big moments—it’s built in small acts of care, repeated over time.

Bring your gloves, bring your kids, bring your appreciation for this community we’re lucky to call home.
We’ll see you there!

(Hosted by the Montecito Association — Saturday, November 9th. Details at montecitoassociation.org.)
